After two decades of precarious stewardship and bouncing from community volunteers to Engine Yard to Ruby Together to Ruby Central, RubyGems is finally coming home. Matz and the Ruby core team are assuming control of the project that's been mission-critical infrastructure since 2003. Last month”s messy transition drama made this inevitable.
